Measuring what matters

As investments in social media increase, businesses are demanding greater accountability and ROI from marketing. Unlike the early days when certain basic metrics would suffice, the need for social media to drive hard core business results has led to the rise of sophisticated, and often complex, metrics to measure ROI.

Basic "Likes" and mere engagement rates don't cut it anymore, neither does a "one-size-fits-all" approach.

So what are the social media marketing KPIs that really matter to the business? What are the strategies and tools available that facilitate measuring, analysing and translating the performance of social media investments to business results?
